frailty of life

was talking to a friend this morning on gchat who's been serving these past months in Afghanistan. surprised by the fact he's in Toronto, i soon found out he's here to bring his friend back to Canada, his friend who had been killed in action.  not sure what to say, just feel shocked and somber and much more i can't put into words.
