trials and tribulation

Joseph was put into a well
Elijah fled to the desert
Jonah spent time in a fish
Daniel was put in the lion's den
Jesus was nailed to the cross
Stephen was stoned to death
Paul was put into prison

trials and tribulation are the hardest and though none of the things in my life.  i can't imagine how it would be to be in these times where it seems like everything you ever knew abandoned you.

Joseph became second in command to Pharaoh
Elijah was refreshen by God himself
Jonah was used as God's mouthpiece
Daniel's faith demonstrated God's sovereignty
Jesus' blood redeemed mankind from sin
Stephen saw the glory of God
Paul wrote the letters to the churches


But then again, things aren't always what they seem, cause our God does not work in the ways of man and He loves us and we are His children.  Challenges, trials and tribulation are put in our lives for a reason that will ultimately glorify Him and draw us closer.
